Events at Kirkhill

There’s no end to the possibilities at Kirkhill. We can help you host the perfect event from dinners, weddings and parties to corporate events and conferences, all against the stunning backdrop of the Pentland Hills.

We operate solely on an exclusive use basis, meaning that you call the shots. We only host one event at any time, so you can work on your own timescale and dress the house exactly as you want.

The Grand Hall and Dining Room, the house’s main reception areas, can host up to 42 guests for a sit-down meal or 70 guests for a drinks reception. By extending into the garden, we can accommodate up to 300 guests in our marquee.

The Mansion House at Kirkhill can sleep any number from 8 up to 34 guests. Our individually decorated bedrooms can be adapted as king, double, twin and bunk bed rooms depending on your particular requirements. Whether you need a honeymoon suite, a family room or a single room, we can make it work beautifully.

A true country retreat within easy reach of Edinburgh, the Kirkhill Estate has over 3000 established trees. With the North Esk River running around half of the house’s boundary, there are some beautiful walks in and around the grounds. It is the perfect setting for a country event near the city.
